Google I/O
Google I/O is the biggest developer event of the year. Working across multiple teams and formats, we planned, produced and delivered a stream of recap videos, social content and reactive edits to keep developers informed, engaged and up to date.
Google I/O moves fast. Announcements land across keynotes, talks and live sessions, while stakeholders across Product, DevRel, Marketing and Creative teams need content that is accurate, on-brand and delivered at speed. With approvals running across multiple time zones and footage arriving throughout the event, the challenge was to build a system that could respond in real time without compromising quality, consistency or clarity.
One event, multiple content streams. Four themed Chrome developer sizzles distilled the most important announcements into focused, easy-to-digest highlights, while a hero recap video, social cutdowns and creator-led "Day in the Life" content brought the energy and personality of I/O to developers wherever they were watching.
We planned and produced a mix of recap videos, social content and event coverage for Google I/O 2025, working closely with Product, DevRel and Marketing teams throughout. As sessions went live, footage was rapidly reviewed, prioritised and integrated into evolving edits, with some content delivered within 24 hours. Across every format, the focus remained the same: helping developers quickly understand what mattered most from Google I/O 2025 through content that was timely, entertaining and unmistakably on-brand, even managing to squeeze in some content for Android Devs too!
