Firebase Animations
A motion and animation refresh that modernised the Firebase video series, aligning it with a new visual identity while preserving the clarity and trust that developers rely on.
Firebase had an established animation system that developers relied on. The brief wasn't to start again but to elevate what existed, carrying a new visual identity while keeping the clarity and accessibility that made these videos work in the first place.
The focus was on motion language rather than content; refining the timing, easing and rhythm of how things move through the frame. Sharper, more intentional, more confident in how it carried the new visual identity. The kind of difference you feel in the way a video flows before you consciously notice it.
On the storytelling side, we tightened each video to be more direct and easier to follow, meeting developers where they actually were. Voiceovers were recorded outside a professional studio, with AI-powered audio cleanup within the Adobe suite bringing the recordings to a quality that works for evergreen documentation and developer blogs. Strong internal reception, with assets now embedded across Firebase documentation and the developer blog.
